PDFlyte respects your privacy. Our platform is designed to operate with maximum transparency and minimal data collection.

1. Core Principle

PDFlyte runs primarily on-device. When you use compression, merging, signing, or other local tools, your files never leave your computer. No uploads, no tracking.

2. Limited Cloud Features

Some Pro features (like OCR, conversion, or AI summary) run on secure, encrypted servers. Files are automatically deleted within 24 hours and never used for model training or analytics.

3. Analytics & Cookies

We use lightweight analytics (page views, anonymized events) to understand traffic. We do not track user identities or behavior across sessions. PDFlyte does not use advertising cookies.

4. Account Data

If you create a Pro account, we store only the minimal data necessary: your email, subscription status, and billing ID (via Stripe). Passwords are encrypted and never shared.

5. Third-Party Integrations

Payment processing and email automation are handled by trusted vendors (e.g., Stripe, MailerLite). Each vendor is fully compliant with GDPR, CPRA, and UETA/ESIGN standards.
